原定于8月11日正式全国公映的电影《孤注一掷》于8月5日开启首轮点映，并提档至8月8日公映。

Originally scheduled to open nationwide on Aug 11, No More Bets, an anti-fraud film, has moved up its release date to Tuesday, Aug 8.

据猫眼电影数据，截至8月13日，影片《孤注一掷》票房突破16亿，目前该电影票房已经达到了同期上映电影的断层第一名。

As of Sunday, No More Bets has generated an impressive 1.6 billion yuan ($211 million), making it the latest sensation and an unexpected dark horse in the highly competitive summer box office season.

电影《孤注一掷》讲述程序员潘生（张艺兴 饰）、模特安娜（金晨 饰）被海外高薪招聘吸引，出国淘金，意外落入境外诈骗工厂头目陆经理（王传君 饰）和阿才（孙阳 饰）的陷阱。

No More Bets is about a Chinese programmer and a model who, enticed by the promise of high-paying jobs, find themselves trapped in a foreign country as prisoners of a ruthless gang, and forced into online gambling fraud.

这是毕业于北京电影学院导演系新晋电影人申奥的第二部导演作品。他的电影大多从现实故事中汲取灵感，经常以悬疑的基调深入探索人性的复杂性，《孤注一掷》延续了这一特征。

It marks the second directorial feature of emerging filmmaker Shen Ao, a Beijing native who graduated from the directing department at Beijing Film Academy.

Mostly drawing inspiration from real-life stories, Shen's movies often delve into the exploration of humanity's complexity, with a suspenseful tone. No More Bets continues to demonstrate his signature stylish cinematography.

从2020到2021年，申奥和他的团队采访了许多国外类似案件的受害者及处理案件的警察。他们与两位编剧同事合作，共同撰写了剧本，在海南省拍摄了这部影片。

From 2020 to 2021, Shen and his team conducted interviews with many victims and police officers who were involved in handling similar cases in foreign countries. Collaborating with two fellow writers, they co-wrote the script and filmed No More Bets in South China's Hainan province.

申奥在向《中国日报》讲述其拍摄起因时表示：“网络诈骗造成了很多家庭破裂和经济损失。我认为有必要将其拍成电影，以提高公众的认识。”

"Online scams have caused broken families and financial ruin. I believe it is necessary to turn this into a film to raise awareness among the public," Shen tells China Daily about his impetus to helm the tale.

Intricately woven with multiple storylines, the film also features actor Darren Wang as a graduate student who becomes entangled in the world of online gambling, depicting his downward spiral into an irreversible path.
